How to make 2016 the best year yet!

Friday, 1 January 2016

I often get asked how I keep my sparkle. I've also been asked how I stay so focused and positive.
The answer is simple. I read, I plan and I stay focused on the good things and where I want to be in life. This up and coming month (JANUARY 2016) I'm going to be doing several posts on my Sparkly Blog all about how to make 2016 the best year yet, so make sure you follow me on my social media so you don't miss a post!

I often get asked what books or planners I would recommend and I have shared a few of the below before on my Instagram and Facebook. HOWEVER this year I thought I would just do one tidy post for you full of inspiring reads and workbooks so that you can start getting ready for a wonderful 2016.....

OK LETS DO THIS...

First up...

Leonie Dawson 2016 Create Your Shining Year in Life & Biz

I started to buy Leonie Dawson's Shining Year Workbooks back in 2014 after being introduce to her by a friend. When I hopped on over to her website for the first time I felt so full of happiness and love my heart jumped for joy. The website is just full of colour and energy and you just know that by ordering her workbook you are set for a fabulous year ahead. The layout of the workbook is so easy to do you don't feel like its hard work and it really helps you to see all the good in the year that's past as well as the not so great stuff so you can look to change this in the up and coming year, plus it helps you to really focus on where you wanna be in 2016. I cannot recommend these work books and calendars enough... If you wanna kick off 2016 with a bang check out Leonie Dawson right now by clicking HERE.

2. LUCKY BITCH: Denise Duffield-Thomas

I first discovered Denise Duffield-Thomas back in 2012. I was looking for an inspirational read at the time and her book "Lucky Bitch" turned up. Lucky Bitch is one of the best motivational books that I've ever read. It helps you see things differently and it's an easy read thanks to Denise's writing style. Denise also does a thing called THE LUCKY BITCH BOOTCAMP... this is perfect if you wanna kick yourself up the butt and get motivated for 2016. If you maybe feel a little stuck in a rut and ready for a bit of a change in 2016. Check out Denise's website HERE.

3. Danielle LaPorte

I'm going to be honest. The first time that I stumbled across Danielle LaPorte's website I felt it was a bit heavy going. Then on a different day I decided to take another look and have a little nosey around her site. Not long after that I decided to purchase the Fire Starter Sessions Book and let's just say since then I've been a HUGE fan of the lady and her work. The Desire Map is amazing! It's helps you understand the reason why you do every little thing in your life and it helps to feel fabtastic daily. I would really recommend The Desire Map and Diary for anyone who really wants to focus on feeling fabulous and happy in 2016!

The Daily Greatness Journal

I feel like I can never have enough Journals / Life Workbooks. The Daily Greatness Journal is another fabulous choice for working out everything you want in life. Whether it's your 2016 fitness plan, your 2016 business plan or just a little look at what direction you wanna take yourself in, in the year ahead. The Daily Greatness Journal is a quite in depth book and requires a bit of patience and effort on your part to get the most out of it. However it's worth a Sunday afternoon once a week or an hour in the evening once the little ones asleep!

Erin Condren 2016 planner

I've always had paper diaries for as long as I can remember mainly because when I was gigging I had to be super organized. This however is the best yearly planner that I've ever found. I love how much space there is in the planner to write lots of notes and it's great that you can personalize it to make it your own and make it a little more special. This planner is a little more pricer that I some, however I can guarantee it's so worth it! Can you tell I'm a big fan.
