Firstly can I start by saying this isn't a sponsored post and I haven't been gifted any of these products.. I am writing this to say a HUGE THANK YOU TO CLINIQUE for sorting out my skin. I'm genuinely thankful and happy thanks to CLINIQUE...

Let's go back in time...

When I was about 13 / 14 I had horrible teenage skin. You know what I'm talking about spots galore and rosy cheeks. It's a nightmare at that age ain't it. I mean there you are sat in class across from that really cute boy and you have a massive spot on your chin! LUSH!
My mum being the awesome mum that she is took me along to Boots one day and took me to the Clinique counter for a consultation and then proceeded to buy me the famous Clinique 3-step skincare routine as she'd heard great things about it.
I used the skincare daily for a few weeks before binning it all. I felt like it wasn't helping my skin at all, I felt like my skin was itchy dry and yucky, it just wasn't the way forward for me. From then on I bypassed Clinique and have done for all these years until now.

It was mad. I was 1 month pregnant and I sat there in our apartment in Dubai itching my face like crazy whilst watching some dodgy reality TV show on YouTube. Chris looked at me and asked if I was alright. I said no not really and walked quickly to the bathroom to splash my face with cold water. I looked in the mirror and I was greeted with these huge red patches all over my chin and cheeks and soon these red patches turned into hormonal acne. I even woke myself up at night itching my face so badly because the hormonal changes going on in my body just made my skin go totally crazy!

In the end I resulted in making an oatmeal face mask and sitting there every evening with that on my face... Chris and I giggled lots as I looked so silly sat there with this gunky home made face mask all over my face. However it did do the the trick and settled my skin so all was good in the world of pregnant me!

By the end of my pregnancy I had the BEST SKIN EVER. I  looked so radiant. This whole pregnancy glow thing was for  real.. my skin was beautiful and my hair shiny and thick...  AMAZING!!!

(Baby Lewis... My Gorgeous Boy)

Skip on to 1 year after having Baby Lewis and here I am just sorting out my skincare routine. My skin has always been combination, now though after having little one my skin's been so dry, like ridiculously dry. Also I do think that my skin did changed a lot when we moved back to the UK from Dubai at the end of last year because it's a lot colder etc.

I was watching one of our Vlogs on my YouTube Channel the other week and all I could see was a very dull faced me. By that I mean that my skin looked the worst it's looked in a long time it just looked super dry and I looked tired.

On Saturday I thought enough was enough and I took myself off to Boots in search of the perfect skincare routine...

Being the beauty fanatic that I am I'm always on the look out anyway for key products to add to my ever growing collection in the bathroom.
I'd heard alot about Clinique's Moisture Surge Moisturiser, HOWEVER up until now I hadn't thought about trying it simply because of that dreaded experience that I had with Clinique when I was in my teens. On Saturday though I felt really lost and at my wits end and thought, What the heck let's go and chat with a Clinique Consultant and see what they have to say about my skin.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much better my skin feel's after just a few days of using these products.

 I brought these items:

Clinique Take the day off Cleansing Milk
Clinique Pep - Start Eye cream
 Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturiser

The Clinique consultant did advise me on some other products to use, but lets be honest it can get a bit pricey as the shopping basket starts to fill up and with more shopping to grab before I headed out the store and not knowing if these products would work, I decided to get the key ones for me.

1. Something to take away my daily make up.

2. A moisturise to put some glow back in to my skin.

3. An under eye cream to make me look awake after dealing with a teething baby all night long!

So why have I written this post? I've written it because Clinique genuinely has solved my skincare problems and I really am so super impressed. I can't believe how much the brand has developed since I last took a look at their products too.
Let's just say I'll be popping into Boots and grabbing some more item's soon as Clinique is now at the top of my skincare list...

Do you have a favourite Skincare product from Clinique? What else should I try?
