Sparkly Sunday = Sparkly September!

Hi there lovelies,

So this Sparkly Sunday is quite exciting as I wanted to introduce to you a SUPER SPARKLY MONTH AHEAD... Yup Sparkly September... 

Lots of people ask me where the nickname "Sparkles" came from...

Let me know tell you quickly...

As you know I'm a singer and over the years I've played many a gig around the UK, Europe and Worldwide. I've always loved glitter & sparkles and whenever I was on stage I'd pile on the glitter, whether it was wearing a super sparkly necklace a glittery lip-gloss, glitter dust on my face or sparkly gel on my arms... The more sparkle I had on, the better it was! 
Sitting in-front of that dressing room mirror piling on the glitter made me happy, excited and feel great before heading on stage to sing!

After doing a tour of the same venues for a few weeks the entertainment teams got to know me well. Before I knew it I'd got the name of "Glitter Fairy" because at every venue that I played  I left a trail of glitter in the dressing room and on stage... 
This nickname slowly turned from "Glitter Fairy" to "Sparkles" and before long everyone started to call me "Sparkles".

I soon realised how much "Sparkles" became a big part of my life... "Sparkle" isn't just about the glitz and glam and the glitter... no its a frame of mind. 
Being Sparkly is being HAPPY in my world and sharing the sparkles is sharing love and happiness... Hence where Sparkly September came from...

I WANT TO SHARE MY SPARKLES WITH YOU! 

The 1st September 2014 will kick off a month of Sparkle and every single day I'll upload on to Instagram, Twitter & Facebook + Pinterest a Sparkly Quote... this quote should be shared with friends and family... Baby Bump Update Week 21

Hi there lovelies,

WEEK 21! YAY!

We're now over the half way mark... I'm so excited!

How far along?

21 weeks going into 22...

Maternity clothes?

I'm wearing trousers & skirts from Heavenly Bump which are so comfortable these are maternity wear and I'm also wearing bigger sized tops from H&M and New Look.

Stretch marks?

Still none... WOO HOO! I'm going to share with you soon all the products that I've been using.

Sleep:

As I'm getting bigger now I'm finding that my left hips getting a little sore due to sleeping on my side every night. (This is recommended to help blood flow to the placenta). However the maternity pillow is definitely helping and making it easier to sleep.

Best moment this week:

Going to my 21 Week check up and being told that everything is going well. :)  

Anything making you queasy or sick?

Nope!

Baby Bump Update Week 20

Hi there lovelies,

It's WEEK 20... half way there... 

It's all so exciting... especially now I can feel little one wriggling... hee, hee, hee ...

20 weeks going into 21 weeks...

Maternity clothes?

I've just ordered some new stuff from Heavenly Bump which arrived here in Dubai this week.

Stretch marks?

None so far... 

Sleep:

Sleeping well... the maternity pillow that I brought around 16 weeks is definitely helping... although my left hip is a little sore from sleeping on my side most of the the night.

Best moment this week:

The 20 week scan... that was pretty special!

Sparkly Sunday

Hi there lovelies,

I just wanted to start this post with the word "Sorry"...

I know my blog posts have been here and there recently and I wanted to appologise for that but also thank you for all your support, reads and comments and for sticking with me...

Things have been pretty hectic this end, however now everything seems to slowly be getting back to normal, so expect Sparkly Sunday, Makeup Monday, Tuesday Tunes and other exciting posts over the up and coming weeks...

HOWEVER...

The other day you may have read my post about "Goodbye". This is the brand new dance track by Martin Eriksson and myself. 
As I mentioned in my last post the track already is getting spins around the world both on the radio and in the clubs and for this I am so grateful! 

ANYWAY...

On Saturday I got an email, and on that email it said "CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR CHART POSITION". I open the email up and there it was... from number 21 in the Deejayworx chart to number 3 in just a week, sitting right alongside David Guetta, Avicii & Tiesto... Imagine how I felt... Yup you guessed it... SUPER EXCITED! 

So thank you for all the love and support of "Goodbye" so far... this is only the first step...

PLEASE... Request "Goodbye" by Martin Eriksson ft. Clare Elise on your local radio station and on BBC RADIO 1, PLEASE keep downloading on Beatport, Itunes, Amazon etc. & if you're a DJ please give this a spin in your set or on your show...

Baby Bump Update 19 Weeks

I've just ordered from Heavenly Bump in the UK and I'm waiting for it to arrive here in Dubai, I so can't wait.

Stretch marks?

None! I'm using so many different oils and lotions now... I'll definitely do a video or post all about this! 

Sleep:

I am in LOVE with my pregnancy pillow (which featured in last weeks VLOG).

I'm sleeping sooooooo well thanks to that...

Best moment this week:

Feeling baby wriggle very lightly in my tummy... :)

Hi there lovelies,

August is a fab month for me as I've just released my new single with Martin Eriksson and I'm so excited... Already we've had such a HUGE response from DJ's around the world and for this I am truly grateful.

It's tough out there in the music industry as we all know and to say that "Goodbye" is getting out there organically and just because peeps like it.... yeah this makes me super happy! 

In the first week of promo we were already getting many 8/10, 9/10 or even 10/10 for the track and feedback was good.

On release we saw support from radio stations all around the world with DJ's sharing on their show's simply because they loved the tune...

Right now downloads are going well... we made it into the Beatport Top 100 Progressive House Chart and on Deejay Worx we've managed to get to number 2 in the European Chart  and 21 in the International Chart so far... 

I'm really excited about this track... As you may know or may not know I've been in the music biz for years and years now and I've been writing for quite a while and collaborating with DJ's around the world for the last few years.... I'm really happy with how things are going with this song and urge you to support and help us get Goodbye - Martin Eriksson ft. Clare Elise higher up the charts, downloaded by many, played by big names and HOPEFULLY played on BBC Radio 1 (This would be a dream come true).
